2013 season awaits...
Two more weeks until my first "official" outing and the start of my 2013 season. Dogs are primed, at fighting weight, and I am like a kid before Christmas. It's been a long off season and my dogs are bouncing off the walls. Will be carrying the camera and hopefully will add some pics to the bag.

Went to remonstrate with someone for taking a vehicle on my riverbank yeasterday, got nearer and realised it was the beat manager renovating the beat signposts. So we got chatting as per usual, turns out he used to own and train springers, came away with some driven pheasant and duck flighting next season. I can take Bryn along on other days for experience, probably keep him on the lead and won't work him as he won't be a year old until December. While we were chatting I chucked the dummy a couple of times just to keep Bryn from talking to the 2 cavaliers in the car and he returned the dummy to hand perfectly which was pleasantly surprising. Roll on next season.
