A sad farewell to my girl

Post by michelle »

A very sad day today saw me carry my old girl to the vet, she went peacefully after downing her favourite treat of sardines at home then a whole roast chicken breast in her last moments. dementia and old age finally made me make the selfless decision to let her go, she was 14 this year and has left her legend here with me in her son and grandpups. We are all suffering very much today and I can honestly say i have never seen my husband so affected. I will miss her very much and a great hole to fill.

It is always so very sad to see photographs of happy dogs and then to read they have become old and have departed this world; she looked a lovely dog. I am so sorry.

So sorry - our thoughts are with you. RIP lovely girl.

It never ever gets any easier does it? But we all know the day that it does is the day when we should no longer have dogs in our life.

hi

my thoughts are with you.

It is always such a hard decision to make but we do it because we love them.

i always say that it is my one last true act of love and devotion to let them go when the time is right.

she will always have a special place in your heart.
