Dougal is now 6 months, and over the past month he refuses to return the dummy....!
He will walk for miles with the dame thing in his mouth..... Run the other way if I turn....
Food rewards aren't working, and throwing the dummy in a confined space isn't working either.....
The only thing I think of is a check lead, but I've never used one....!

You could try working on changing his idea that you are taking his dummy away from him to - he gives it to you and you give it right back to him again.
So work on him taking the dummy from your hand, then he gives it back to you then you give it back to him and so on and so forth.
Don't throw the dummy for him for a while just work on the give and take game.

An alternative to this would be to have two dummies, he gives you one and then he gets to hold and carry the other.
