Sending a pup to America
Morning Folks
Has anyone got any experience of sending a pup to America? I've had an enquiry about sending a pup over, but haven't a clue where to start.
Cheers
Scott

It might be an idea to ask the buyer to source the details.

Re: Sending a pup to America
Hi Andrew
He's said he'll send a shipping crate over, however would like a price for a pup, vet fees and transportation to the airport. He's said that it cant be sent until its 13 weeks old and needs a vet passport. I can google all these things, just looking for experience of going through this and whether it's a lot of work.

Just looking, thomas cook allow pets under 6kg as excess baggage which you can take with you in the cabin for £15. It'd mean me flying out and back with it, but may be cheaper.

Re: Sending a pup to America
My experiences were good, though we always came over and brought the pup or pups back with us. When one compares shipping cost one way for a pup against a round way ticket it always made sense to get the passport out a plan a holiday. we tried to coincide with the UK trial season or Summer time game fairs or some such activity. Had good experiences at Heathrow, Crowley, and Manchester airports.
