Daica Duster

Post by Strathcraig »

Anyone got one or know anyone who uses one?

Will be used for commuting primarily, bit of light off road but importantly, boot needs to be able to take around 6 Labradors.

I await your replies

Its as small / smaller than the old Freelander so would be a tight squeeze for 6 Labs even with the seats down.
In life, it is important to know when to stop arguing with people and simply let them be wrong.

I had an extended test drive in one last year. For the money you can't really complain but didn't drive very well and wasn't very comfortable personally. They do use well proven mechanical components if a little dated.
You can buy something late used for not much more - I ended up buying an 8 month old pre registered Subaru Forester with 20 miles on clock for about £2K more than similar specified 4wd Duster. For me no comparison and 12 moths later I still feel I made the right decision.
Good luck whatever you choose.
