What age do you tend to put your puppy in a kennel outside (with company)?

When it arrives 8 weeks old, straight out with a good old dog to keep it company.

I keep mine indoors until at least 6 months because I like to housetrain them (I dislike dogs peeing in kennels), plus my dogs may be expected to stay in hotels, other people's homes etc so I need them habituated to indoor life. Once they are 100% clean indoors they start to spend time in the kennel with the big dogs during the day, then at night.

My Pup will be 8 weeks first week of October, I have no heating in my kennel although they are insulated. Will it be warm enough?

I keep mine separate from other dogs until it's 5/6 months old, I've found they bond better and easier if I'm the soul focus of their attention. I have a dog pup just now, 5 months old, just started to put him in the kennel with his sire while clean his kennel, I have my pups inside on saw dust, I find 10/15 minutes at a time is enough at this age, I'll put him for an hour then a morning over a couple of months. I find this system works for me.
