Country Covers/Fortis

Post by Bent »

Does anyone in here have any experience with Country Covers/Fortis? I ordered a rain jacket on the 25th of june and have not yet received it (19-09). I have e-mailed them several times and have only got excuses such as they are very busy etc. Actually I don´t know what to do, any advice?

romanriver: they actually drew the money the same day I ordered the jacket, so now they have had the money for almost 3 months; strange way of doing business in my opinion...

I ended up waiting over 6 months for goods- however, they are very good at poor excuses- talk to your bank, they are failing to provide goods promised.

Sounds like a business living hand to mouth, sooner or later it will go under taking customers money with it!

Im surprised the kit is so popular, aside from the fact it leaks and isn't fit for purpose it lacks any kind of styling, aesthetically it's as stylish as a bin bag, though less breathable but not as waterproof.

Utter dross sold by the most ignorant, dishonest obnoxious people I've ever had the misfortune to come across, they are an anomalie, they the exception to Darwens theory of natural evolution, I had to get trading standards involved to get a refund for the worst coat I've had in 30 years, it two years, get your money back asap, do not accept the "breathable waterproof" garment, it will be neither. You will most likley need psychiatric help after dealing with the cast of "the hills have eyes" that run the company, I have a number of someone I used, I'm still getting over the ordeal..........I may never be the same again.
