Great video, lovely to watch. Did it take him long to get the dog used to the drone?

We have done some filming of dogs with drones. The dogs surprisingly get used to the drones very quickly. Another interesting thing with the drone is that it causes the birds to sit a little tighter.

That's the aerial predator effect. Years ago we experimented with flying a hawk shaped kite over a field of sugar beet to make partridges sit tighter before walking it up, something I think they used to do in Ye olde days when shooting over pointers on flighty birds.

Yep. My old falconry days, we used to cast off a long-wing to wait on, when we were getting pups into game to get them steady. Now we can just use a drone :)
