The latest tested fucosidosis Carrier is Kenquartz Golden Plover - well done to the owner for testing.
The three gen pedigree is interesting (only doing three gen because of the amount of typing).

1 Nortonhill Tailor
2 Song Thrush

3 Beggarbush Risk Of Fowlersmoon
4 Nortonhill Ginny
5 Cippyn Cymro
6 Edgegrove Hidi

7 Craighaar Boris
8 Steadroc Setlands of Beggarbush
9 Whitehope Dunlin Of Underway
10 Molanna Silver Lake Lady of Nortonhill
11 Steadroc Sker
12 Cippyn Ceirios Ddu
13 Towerbird Archer Of Edgegrove
14 Ravensgrove Jessie Of Edgegrove

The Nortonhill line goes back to Readhead Riley; Setlands and Sker are litter brother and sister (Art x Chilview Ann); 9 Dunlin's sire is Boris and 12 Ceirios is sired by Badgercourt Moss. Pretty much all mainstream names in the pedigree and a good show of FTCH's. None of the dogs except Plover has been tested even though the DNA test has been available for over ten years.

Thanks for posting. All the carriers have pedigrees full of popular dogs so it's amazing we've had so few cases. This reiterates the need to test though.

C. Art is in most of the carrier pedigrees...but he sired so many litters maybe that's a red herring! IF he WAS a carrier we've been very very very lucky not to see more cases.

Another one: Again well done to the owner for testing before breeding. Just three gen again but in the five gen, Robinsmoor Sam Of Flintwood, Readhead Riley, Jenoren Boss, Toonarmy Tempest, Glancawr Iago, Helots Predator, Yellowhill Sarahs Girl and other good lines. Robb and Rod are in the backstalls but unusually no Art in this pedigree.

Wiccanmagic Ludo Lady

1 Shadow Of The Wind
2 Rhosyn Yr Wyddfa

3 Spamvalley Cowboy
4 Shadeka Pippa
5 Jack Of Waun
6 Ruthless Day

7 Edwardiana Rob
8 Rosecliffe Woodlark
9 Millrace Dancer
10 Etheridge Mimosa
11 Honey Boy Simba
12 Meg Of Anglesey
13 Beckric Moss
14 Housty Kola

I wonder how the member on here's dog was bred, the one who sadly passed away from fuco :(

Matgrove Hector (Fucosidosis Affected)

1 Matgrove Chimera
2 Matgrove Daisyweed Dolly

3 Farnsey Boy
4 Dockgrove Doris
5 Tawnyhill Toscar
6 Daisy May Grove

7 Steadroc Sker
8 Minkweir Evil Intentions
9 Tawnyhill Arch
10 The Sunny Backed Swallow
11 Nantycorn Clinker Of Tawnyhill
12 Tawnyhill Tease
13 Tawnyhill Arch
14 The Sunny Backed Swallow

Clinker 11 is the sire of Arch 9 & 13 so is on both sides of the pedigree along with The Sunny Backed Swallow 10 & 14. Clinker is also sire of Toscar 5 so he and Arch are half brothers. Arch's dam is Tawnyhill Twiggy, by Badgercourt Moss out of Judy of Tawnyhill. Toscar's dam is Tawnyhill Tease, full sister to Twiggy. Doris 4 and Daisy May 6 are full sisters too. The Sunny Backed Swallow 10 and 14 is a grand daughter of Rytex Rod. Clinker is a grandson of Angel Breeze Gwibernant.

Other Fuco Carriers:
Willowdyke Kesgrave Lou - has Angel Breeze Gwibernant as GG grandsire and Cooltech Tina by Kenine Robb of Rytex as granddam. Also Hotshot Laser as G grandsire.

Wiltonsprings Austin - has Hotshot Laser as G grandsire, Moss as GG grandsire and Moonreed Misty as GG granddam. Misty is by Rod out of Tawnyhill Amy (Moss x Judy of Tawnyhill). Surefly Lilly (Clarburgh Art x Misty) is G granddam. Lilly is full sister to Surefly Bluebottle. The Valnew Carriers are sired by Austin.

Jessie Jayne - Sire Surefly Bluebottle (Art x Misty)
Isla Bracken - Sire Surefly Bluebottle
These half sisters also have related dams with Birdrowe lines so it is not as clear as it may appear - Bluebottle was never DNA tested

Brugha Buttercup - Moss as GGG grandsire twice on dam side. Note however that Andrew Lad (liver & white) and Radical Lady (liver & white) have supposedly produced Merphie Of Gayford Lodge (black & white) and he also appears twice on dam line.

The big sires get everywhere - for instance Cortman Lane, half brother to Moss on the sire side is in many of these pedigrees - but also if you follow and influential bitch line such as Judy of Tawnyhill, there she is in Craighaar, Moonreed, Helmsway, Buccleuch, Beggarbush, Countryways..........everywhere too.
