Angus, a black and white Pointer has gone missing after a car accident in which the driver sadly died. If spotted please contact his owner 07775 928 061 or Lee Herron on 07841 340 752 as soon as possible. The dog has been seen and seems ok but is unlikely to return to anyone other than someone he knows.

That is just a few miles from where I went for a holiday a week ago. I feel really sorry for everyone involved in the accident.
There is some very wild countryside around there so I hope the lost dog is found quickly.

I think the dogs owner will have been starting on his annual pilgrimage to do some grouse counting and to join the field trial circuit of the pointer and setter breeds which begins soon as these trials don't require any birds to be shot.

Heard this second hand on Sunday morning after Saturdays trial. Very sad news indeed and I sincerely hope the poor dog is found and cared for. Very tragic for the families involved, really upsetting.

Worse, really, the dog was with a handler along with several other dogs. The owner must be beside themselves not knowing where the dog is nor whether he was injured although he has been sighted and appears ok so far.
