Sookie just loves being in the water. This is her in the Coventry Canal just having a swim. She has started deliberately splashing and then trying to catch the splashes. Harley, a 12 month old labrador gets fed up and jumps in to show her that swimming is not for fun it's for a purpose :-)

The IWS certainly loves playing in the water. Was she tired after that workout!

I have a friend who would like an IWS, are they easy to train?

watched the video - defintely lives up to her breed of water spaniel. Loved the lab bouncing about waiting for her to bring something in.

This is my first IWS (both her parents are working full time) she is very different from the labradors I am used to. I need to be a lot firmer with her, and she will continue to do things that she knows she should not. You can almost see her weighing up the odds, "I know I should not do this, but I really want to so I shall" but she is only 5 months old and is getting there all be it with a lot more work than I have had to put into any other dog I have trained.
