Puppy development a year on!

Post by dunearnlabs »

Hi,

Here is a picture of our 14month Black Labrador Murphy. He has come a long way in a short time (1 Year) progress is now steady after the initial growth spurt from small bouncy bundle to large bouncy bundle!!

Training is going well picking up and retrieving dummies, heal work ok need to tighten up a wee bit, steady to thrown dummies or tennis ball, takes directional hand movements "back" "Stay" "Sit" "left "right", Stop whistle ok from 15meters but any more he just keeps on running! Like i said his training is coming along well just a matter of time until we start on live game this Season. will be with experienced shooting handlers for his first season so confident on his progress with help.

I have enjoyed reading the posts on the forum and picking up some tips along the way, great source of info for the novice and experienced gundog handlers alike.

Stuart.

He's still got a lovey keen expression for a lab you understand.
