Diotto inside out boots

Post by lagopus »

Did anyone use these boots last season please? I am thinking of trying some but wondered what people thought of them first.

Blackislander in partnership with Diotto of Italy imports two of the most innovative boots on the UK market today- the 11" NO SCRATCH HIGH LEG and the 9" GRAPHITE - THE LOW MAINTANCE BOOT.

Both of these boots have the following unique qualities:
•All leather boot - Covered with unique man made waterproof/breathable/ new concept rubberised fabric which is bonded onto the leather upper / sole preventing water entering the boot at the seam
•Windex waterproof/ breathable liner
•
BLACKISLANDER / DIOTTO NO SCRATCH 11" HIGH BOOT ; COLOUR BROWN
Spec as above but with bellows tonque .No Scratch Weight examples size 9 - 975 grms size 11 - 1075 grms
Lightweight / Rust free eyelets
•Vibram sole
•Rubber toe
•400 gr thinsulate liner
•Virtually hand made ( having visited the factory I can vouch for this fact)
•Sizes 4-14
•Wight examples Graphite - size 9 -875 grms size 11 - 975 grms

NOW NO NEED TO CONTINUALLY PRESERVE THE LEATHER UPPERS as on most leather boots allowing them to be used almost continually - only having to air the footbed / internal part of boot AND occasionally treat the stressed areas around the toe area with a leather cream

They are a popular choice around about here. People seem to either love them or hate them, probably much like any other brand of boot you could ask for a review on.

Same with the high-tops, most folk have a preference and wouldn't swap to the other.

Never personally had them because I really need ladies fit boots, otherwise I'd give them a bash.

Thanks for that. They seem to like them on the Lab Forum. I'll give them a go - just hope they are wide enough.

I have a pair of these and would highly recommend them. I find them extremely warm and they are completely waterproof. The only thing I would say is that they are a tad on the small size so would order a half size bigger than you would normally.

Got a pair, quite like them.

It's my Meindle Dovres (would have been their third season) which have started to leak badly which is why I'm changing. Anyway, they are on order so fingers crossed.
