Re: Insurance?

My experiences with insurance definately helped make up my mind NOT to take out cover on my latest dog. We previously had a show cocker who, at the age of 4 started fitting and was diagnosed with Epilepsy. As we were insured at the time we thought that at least that was taken care of. He lived until...

Re: Yorkshire Game Fair

We also went yesterday. Whole organisation, or lack of it was indeed a joke. They seemed to have completely forgotten to hire people to guide all the cars in! Once we finally arrived there wasn't even people to tell you where or how to park with cars abandoned all over in the fields with no logical ...

Superb looking mum and dad, just the size I had my eye on - small and active (our other one is a large powerful cocker). Setup was great and the breeder ve...

Re: Male or Bitch

Thanks for the replies so far. Forgot to say we keep the dog in the house and he is definitely a pet first. We are fairly soft with him so wouldn't want a hot hunter out of a new one.

Male or Bitch

We have a 3 year old neutered working cocker who is great but can be dominant. We lost our old male show dog last year and we are looking at a new cocker pup this year. I know it will have been debated before but we are looking for advice on whether to go for another male or a bitch? We don't work o...
