Trainer contact

Evening all,

Does anyone have contact details (email/tel) for Ricky Moloney please?

Also, can anyone recommend trainers in Berks/Oxon?

Cheers

CB

Re: Re-learning heel work...

what she does understand is that there is no consistent undesirable consequence for creeping forward. I would carry a thumbstick when you walk, if she's by your heel in the correct position then the stick is in your other hand, if she creeps forward then the stick goes into the hand on the side tha...

Re: Re-learning heel work...

I probably say heel more times than I say her name and it's driving me insane This may well be why you are having no success. Say nothing, but either just stop and walk the other way, or turn. If she's not in the correct spot, if you have to say anything, just grumble at her. She'll get the message...

Hi Andrew, the dog is in front of me - her hind legs are by my knee.

Re: Re-learning heel work...

Have you been doing a lot of training for walk ups? My dog tended to inch forward so that they could mark the dummy, clever but, like you, not what I wanted! As she creeps ahead turn sharp right so that she is at heel again, or, if you are feeling mean, turn sharp left but don't stand on her feet /...

Re: Re-learning heel work...

I mean she is 2 paces in front of me and to be honest she's not overly close to my leg. Her stomach and hind legs are by my knee. When I check her back on the lead, she will re-adjust and drop back but she just will not remain at heel!! aggghhh!!!!

Re-learning heel work...

Morning all, Having seen the recent thread regarding the teaching of heeling I felt compelled to ask the community for some help! My 2 year old lab needs to re-lean heelwork, she is walking too far ahead and no matter what I seem to try i've clearly engrained her to walk 2 paces to far forward. I pr...

Re: Positive reinforcement!??

Hi Sarah,

She is spitting everything when she gets back to me, I can't see why and if I put it back in her mouth and tell her to hold it she (generally) will. However, I've been doing this for ages and she just isnt getting it!! Even though she knows she'll get told off. Very weird.
