Re: Pup growling ….
I am new to the site Terry so no, haven't heard about Bertie! Perhaps it is the name as a friend of mine had one who in the end was affectionately known as Bertie the B*****d! I think you know what I am saying … a great hunting dog but definitely lived his whole life in the kennel and was never reti...

A friend of mine does this with the stop whistle - it is not stop but stop - look at me - get ready to do something good. I do see...

Re: The guy chucking the puppy about on the news
I have never seen anything so sickening. An eye for an eye is what they say - I hope this person is made to feel exactly the same way … terrified for his life. Sadly he cannot suffer the same confusion that a young pup would have. Whatever the sentence it cannot be enough

Re: Pup growling ….
Thanks Jelinga and Sgurr …. horse and cow poo both found already! And consumed in quantity!! "Leave it" starting to register although he thinks it means for a second not longer at this point but we will get there. I was worried about the "swap" in case this leads to dropping of g...

Pup growling ….
Just looking to get a second, third etc opinion to check I have done everything I can and should although I feel the problem has improved: My 4 month old spaniel pup is fine around food - I have made sure I hold bowl sometimes, take it away, give it back, make him wait etc No problem He was very pos...
