Re: Jumping up

Thanks for the replies. Although not going to work her, I would like to train her in the gun dog ethos rather than just a pet dog who brings back a ball etc. Working with dummies doing retrieves, blind retrieves etc she enjoys and I do to. I do have the chance to go beating if she ever made the stan...

Re: Jumping up

shes just over 2 years old. She is a failed police sniffer dog. Failed the training very early on and was in kennels for ages before I re homed her. I don't plan on working her, but like the retrieving dummies etc as enjoyment for us both. Her recall on dummies is brilliant, comes back to me every t...

Is it just a case of when she jumps, make her sit over and over until to s...

We adopted her a while ago and have been working on training since, although very slack at times, I am now in a position to be 100% focused on her. We have many issues that ...

Hi from hampshire

Hi, just found this site and so far seen loads of helpful info. I have a 2 year old golden lab called Kali. She is a failed police sniffer dog who was destined for Hong kong. She failed her training early on and I rehomed her. I have had her for 8 months. When I first got her she would not do anythi...
