Is there by any chance a typo here?

Merlin's breeder uses the "Castlerock" affix.

casterock glen >>> 17.8.2012 >>> p peoples >>> Donegal Field Trials >>> 1st >>> Open AV >>> ES >>> Dog
Above is the original Info I had, to be honest there are so many different spellings around that nothing is 100% all i can assume is its in ireland.

Merlin doesn't look much like an english setter though :-D
I was looking for Castlerock as well but got sidetracked  if you want to divulge please do.

Did wonder what ES stood for, brain not fully engaged.

Castlerock - FLat Coats - Dorothy Brooks.
She breeds mainly for show but trains for working tests etc..

from memory Nic its only those applied for and and issued. I haven't been able to find an online list covering the variation I have. I seem to recall the stud book is available for purchase which also helps. I'll look again but It wasn't obvious.
The main problem I've come across is a lot of the litters are named with what appears to be an affix but in fact isn't, therefore its only those on the circuit who are in the know.
The beauty of the information from a forum is its a little less formal and you get Christian or forenames names

Terry Frost - Frostfields. I have a copy of the pedigree of Fernmoss Moonshine, it appears to be signed by D E Ellershaw (could be Elleshaw)
