Bitch gone past 63 days

It's 61 from fertilization and 63 from ovulation but there is a range of normal either side of that too! If you are worried your vet can check her progesterone now which gives an idea of her readiness to whelp.

sure you can get a test done like the one when to brees im sure it uses the same hormones too, remember one bitch went 1 week over and got the test done , vet rang me a short while after and told me within 4-6 houres off memory , they where with me within 5 houres!!! only cost £20 was worth every penny!!

Nothing yet folks. Had her to the vets yesterday who scanned her and only saw a single pup, I was gutted. Put so much time and thought into this and might not get a bitch pup to keep back

Don't get too despondent just yet.. we all know scans are often inconclusive! There might be a couple pups tucked away in there...and one might be an absolutely cracking bitch pup!

3 scans have all shown just the one sometimes even months of planning doesn't mean you'll get what you want. Just hope my bitch gets through it ok
