Re: Paul French
Very disappointing, I’m not knowable enough to say if this training method works but I do know I would not spend a lot of money on a video shot in such low definition, if it was shot in HD why would you put a low definition trailer onto YouTube, bad mistake.

The definition looked OK to me, good enough to explain the method. I have seen this method of training before in America.

Re: Paul French
interesting to see him also using what appears to be little food treats too- I really admire him for being open minded enough to adopt a method like this, blows the 'trialling trainers are stuck in the old ways' argument out of the water!
cheers,
Alice.

Re: Paul French
I went to see him a few days ago and saw this training for the first time. Looks so simple but it works..

Why not just train the dog to sit without the place board? Simples!......

Place boards are not for teaching a dog to sit.kennel maiden wrote:Why not just train the dog to sit without the place board? Simples!......
Re: Paul French
You can see how it would speed it all up by stopping the dreaded cocker creep for one! Getting a delivery without some of the messing about some dogs like to do, teaching steadiness, directions and all done with rewards too.... Nice to see!
