That's exactly what I fear my cocker would do!LucyLab wrote:I used this for a couple months and both dogs would eat the occasional strand...which was delightful when it came out the other end...Alice wrote:do you not find that your dogs eat them? I strongly suspect one of mine would as she's a canine dustbin! But then one day the Lab was violently sick and threw up a RIDICULOUS amount of the stuff!! It was actually very frightening, as he must have eaten until he was absolutely full to bursting. I wouldn't use it again.

To be fair I have I some for the time being. What other bedding do you all use?
I have never had any problems with regards to the dogs eating it.

I tried the tbag stuff once, never again. Cardboard chips for me.... cheaper than the tbag stuff and doesn't get dragged out of the kennel boxes and weld to the concrete! It lasts easily a month and is usually still bone dry when cleaning out. The only downside is I have 40 mile round trip to get it.

My lab sleeps in pure luxury...he gets two memory-foam bathmats. They dry out really quick and easy to wash. The cocker gets absolutely nothing, because he shreds and eats absolutely everything...

Where do you get those? Never seen one.
In life, it is important to know when to stop arguing with people and simply let them be wrong.
