Poss true though. Our local farm shop is saving me lamb ribs but have to wait until Fri as that's when they prep em. Hopefully it will work on her gnashers ')

comes as a bit of a shock just how quick they can eat a rib, Teal was only 12 weeks when she had her first pork rib I thought it would last her a while frightened the hell out of me when it was all gone in a few minutes.

If this the dogs first go at raw bones I would have a couple of days bone free until her stomach gets used to them also look out for very white poo a sign that they are getting a bit to much bone, I am sure after a few weeks you will begin to notice better teeth

We got load of sirloin steaks cheap from a friend who works for a slaughter house (dunbia I think).

my dog tends to have a lot of raw stuff partially frozen if not fully frozen, so I am used to seeing him chew his way through them,

I gave him he sirloin fully defrosted and I genuinely think it was gone in less that 15 seconds.

With kibble he tends to take his time a wee bit, with this steak I think he swallowed it whole!

Incredible to watch, reminds me of the video below, I'm confident my dog would be too soft to get stuck into that, some of the labs I have seen would be at the front hoovering the lot up!

Look up BARF feeding, Ips. I'd take all the lamb & pork bone (and chicken, if you can get it) your butcher could give you (not just rib) & feed it instead of kibble. That forms the majority of my dogs' diet.

I was warned against feeding frozen from my local pet food place, can unsettle the dogs gut apparently?
