It is not over just yet!
Just had a message to say I can go anywhere I like on a small estate where I noticed a lot of rabbits when I helped them out in December and asked if I could hunt the woods after the pheasant season had finished. The owner cannot understand why I like walking a lot and as he puts it "shoot things up the a**e" but is very happy for me to have a go at the bunnies

Getting the only spot on retrieve and delivery from my steady as a rock Clumber in a line of retrievers. Love my dog!

Happy, pet people who haven't a clue about training but always brag about how smart their mongrel dog is, while in contrast, decent trainers with well bred dogs are always thinking: maybe the next pup will have the 'right stuff'. What's up with that ?
