Never got any pics, no. It's a real nice stamp of a dog, 40/60 black to white with speckles, I liked it, it got guns choice even though it was put out for moving, a great shame as I'd liked to have seen it open stakes. It was getting about a bit, a bit too much for some as I heard some tit ask his mate who the old bloke was with the dog that was taking in too much ground  it hit the cover and got the birds back.

I don't think Ian ever came out with a dog that didn't hunt like it meant it :-D

What a massive bellend.

I had a look at the pedigree but not sure I wrote it out. Happily for the forum I'm bored off my tits sat at home with a knee ligament that won't play ball and going slightly mental, so my pedigree researching has gone into overdrive. I'll get one sorted.
cheers,
Alice.

I've got the dvd of him running Boss and Lad, none of this double and treble hunting the ground 8ft from his boots!!! The thing about Ian, and I put Chris Thurston in with Ian Bateson and Bob Longville, they have been successful with springers for, in Ian's case 40/50 years, and differently bred dogs while working full time jobs, they were training dogs when no Rabbits were available and springers were dogs for Men  I remember Eion Robertson telling me he considered Ian Bateson one of the best trainers he's known and Keith Erlandson used to call Eion "the master"!!!!

I have Kite's pedigree if anyone would like me to message it as I don't think I can attach it as a file on the open forum. It is quite unusual to see dogs born in the 1970s still in a pedigree of a dog born 4 and a half years ago!
cheers,
Alice.
