But Eddie wins with bitches not dogs.
I expect dogs and bitches have the same parents...
Why all this insistence on 'hard' dogs? They can be beggars for the inexperienced to train. I have also seen 'hard' dogs that would be absolutely normal in different hands.
Decide what your bitch's best attributes are, what her faults are then find a dog which matches - its no good just going with the first hard, cover bashing dog you come to you also want a dog which will compliment her lines, improve her physique, and sire trainable pups. Talk to experienced breeders that know your bitch, know her good points and her failings, tell them what you would like to see in the pups and ask their advice then take it. The internet is not the place to find the miracle dog which will produce the best pups you could hope for from that particular bitch.

You have clearly mis read then what I put, it clearly states what I'm looking for, this is because the bitch has been evaluated and the attributes asked for will compliment her.
And i dont know why folk are saying miracle dog?? what's all that about, I'm not asking for any special at all. My young FTAW dog fits the bill he is just from the wrong lines so to speak, there are a few dogs out there, I was just wondering if anyone knew of any more than the ones i'd already listed. It seems anyone who knows anything about dogs hasn't mentioned this miracle dog, thats because they know what i mean and what I'm looking for.
Geeez!!

So, why not ask for advice from whoever you respect enough to evaluate your bitch instead of having a pop at people who are or, rather, were trying to help by giving generalised advice in order to help you make your own mind up? Ten pages and you are still obviously not happy with any stud suggestions others have been kind enough to make nor any general advice / input anyone not familiar with the latest fashion in Springers has cared enough to offer.

Again your making this into something its not, its been a general discussion, so please don't say nothing is being taken onboard as you're clearly wrong!!!
Have you asked me if I'm happy with the response's/inboxes iv'e received.....No you havn't but if you was kind enough to ask I would tell you I am because its just confirmed what I initially thought, the type of dogs I am looking for are few and far between taking all into consideration.
Who mentioned latest fashion also?? The dogs I mentioned Vatanan/Bramble etc are not the latest fashion, these are dogs 7+ years old.....again making it into something its not!!!!
Oh and go to page 7......It clearly says who will be used!!
Because folk where still commenting and it would be rude not to reply, is there a limit now on the number of pages a thread can stretch to.....you don't have to read it!!!
It's interesting if you take Craighaar and Edwardiana out of the system how many dogs that takes out of the choice process. Although given how far back they are on a lot of pedigrees now it's easy to tie them back in without going very close.

No limit same as their is no limit to the amount of dogs that just dont suit you.
