Gundog Training Forum

Hello from another Newcastle resident. I'm down on the Quayside and sometimes go to Rising Sun. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled!

Not a cocker, but my godmother rescued a springer from a family in the village. Fine for 6/7 years, until one day she went out, left her (and her sprocker) in the kitchen (as usual) and she ate a huge patch of the middle of the lino floor! £4500 in vets fees later she's still not right- ripped most ...

Thank you everyone for the reply, a few leads to follow.

Hi,

Does anyone know of any trainers in the North/West Cumbria (even nr Borders) area? The Lakeland Club is a bit of a hike and I am lookin for 1 to 1 sessions initially.

Thank you!

Thank you! We will give that a go.

Hello all, just after a word (or 2) of advice on a problem I've been having. Sorry if this has been discussed many times before, I did a search but do you know how many posts have 'retrieve' in them?!! Finn is an (almost) 10 month cocker, and I am a complete noob to gundog training, or to dog owning...

She's lovely. My parents have a cocker with the same sire as yours and they're so alike! Twins!

I'm looking forward to it. I've been to Lowther a few times before (saw The Queen in wellies- fetching!) and there seems to be a lot going on. Unfortunately Finn is recovering from kennel cough, even though he's stopped coughing the vet said he might still be contagious so he's staying at home. Best...

So...who's going?

"i have seen pheasant in stockings"

Oh really? Is that a 'specialised' website?
