Their website says they have robust plans in view of the weather but keep an eye on it we are drowning here The Great Yorksire Show has been cancelled today.

Don't think you'll stand a chance negotiating on a pair of boots Bogtrotter, there will be loads of folks attending with inappropriate footwear I'd hazard a guess....

Yes, one of my favourite pastimes at these events .... spotting the most UNsuitable footwear and/or clothing!!

If people turn out in silly stuff they have only themsleves to blame and will got no sympathy from me it's not as though we haven't had warnings!! The CLA have been very confident in saying they're not going to cancel haven't they ... I wonder what they've got in hand for the parking areas, because that's what always causes the bother ... once one vehicle gets stuck ... they all get stuck!! I'll be going in on Thurs am (hopefully OK then!!) and there I shall stay til Monday and if I have to be towed out (camping so not going in the 4x4!!) so be it

I ve heard lots of information / miss information rumours and alike about the game fair and weather.

Is anyone on here in the know enough to know what the CLA are planning to do about the weather. Is the ground too wet will they cancel.

Official update on the CLA Game Fair:
Exhibitor entrance to the site has been suspended this morning due to ground conditions. Conditions are being monitored closely and we are hoping for a dry day. Updated 12th July 10am.
