Fed up of the snow

Post by Tarimoor »

And apparently there's more coming my way, I was hoping this would be the last of it!

Although the dogs seem to be enjoying it...

I hear ya, we're due for 10-15 cm tonight. Nice pics though :)

I live on the south tip of the Isle of Wight and we had snow drifts up to the top of the hedges last monday! Really do not want any more!

Nagdammit, we've had another couple of lots, the wind has blown it into drifts about 4 foot deep, apparently the roads are all closed/impassable although I did see the snow ploughs out and about earlier. I'm not even going to attempt to dig the car out!!

Same here, a lot of the roads were closed due to snow drifts, had to take the long way round to the pub

Some lovely person pulled me out of the snow drift my car was buried in yesterday, and I've managed to nip out and get some more dog food as I've been scraping the bottom of the freezer over the last couple of days. The drifts are unbelievable, there's a transit type people carrier abandoned on the side of the road on the way into town, you can't see it till you're close up as the drifts are covering it!! A lot of the way is down to single lane traffic, you can't see a damn thing over the snow so just have to hope and go for it slowly enough to stop if someone else is doing the same the other way.

These pics were taken out the back when I took the two youngsters out for an exercise run, a lot of the snow has been blown away in the high winds!
