A dog covering over a hundred bitches a year?

Very interesting as at the moment there are very few FTCH studs that really stand out from the rest so I'm intrigued to know what dog it is.
Same here, what dog is lining that many bitches? Seems a lot to me...

There are no real stand out studs at the moment, there are a few good young ones but not a single stand out one to my knowledge, hence the interest in a stud covering 100 bitches a year

So there's a dog that's covering 100 bitches a year, and another that's earned £27K in stud fees in one year, and yet many people can't seem to be able to sell, what seem to be very well bred Springer pups, and end up selling them for next to nothing?

The markets gone crazy I see award winning parent litters going for £300 less.

Did the dog in question throw anything nice yet?

I hear of a very classy bitch coming through the ranks, the best in a long time to.

Should find out this year.

The 27k is possible in Cockers, £450 a shot that's 60 bitches a year not totally unrealistic.

However a springer stud covering 100 bitches a year, we'd all like to know what dog that is.

1 stud covering 100 bitches a year sounds like problems for the breed 2-3 generations down the line. Just how many breeding bitches are there around? Just hope to god he's fully health tested.

Any excuse to bang the health testing drum again!

Fact is there isn't a springer stud covering 100 bitches a year, though Barlow did after winning the championship. Interestingly the breed hasn't deteriorated and we don't have a multitude of sickly mutant pups because of one prolific sire.

As with most things, there will be a flavour of the month where the masses will follow.
