Also, by 'proven to produce', do you mean he has successfully sired pups or that a percentage of his offspring have proved themselves in competitions or otherwise?
Thanks
Hey up Ada,
Yes by alpha male I mean a bit of a buggar, hard headed, wouldn't back off from another dog in a run off.
And yes proven to produce as in having offspring on the trialling circuit winning.
Think out of the box. Condor Green Tom - no Edwardiana, no Craighaar, no Rytex other than Rex way, way back.
Can he produce the goods - yes. To all your other questions - don't know.

I can only come up with the following.
FTCH Belvden Vatanan
FTCH Rothienvale Medlar of Edgegrove
FTCH Cleeburf Bramble - Not seen anything by him?
FTCH Hollydrive Kurt - but dubious because i heard he was a carrier for something!!
FTCH Spitfire Sortie - Not sure he will add size and power.
So why would you choose any of the above over Spirit or a number of other FTCH dogs?
What about that clan Gregor of almanch, or something like that, that Malcolm Taylor has? Thrown some good stuff has it not? Alec counts also has a nice dog, Brett, I think he's called.

It produced a Championship Winner so not a bad record! They say if you like a dog, go to the animal that produced it.

Cheers.
must admit I have a bit of a problem pinning down what this 'alpha male' quality you want in the dog really cashes out as. I know you like tough brutes (I remember the days of Hawk ) and I do too, to a point, but I don't really get what an 'alpha male' dog would be like?
