Not had reply back from peter as yet. Will update as soon as I know anything.
Thanks for everyone's support and concern, I don't know the owner but if he is a friend of peters he is likely to be a nice chap so fingers crossed

Muddling along in the hope that one day it starts to make sense.

Update
Unfortunately it was not the missing dog. It has still not been found, gone without trace presumably stolen.
Thank you to all for your help and concern.
Ps
Any sightings still appreciated

Still nothing on Doglost website so no link or pictures to help identify this dog?
The owner really does need to get it on the Doglost website.

Re: cocker missing in Shropshire
Cocker has been found on a neighbouring farm caught by her ears in barbed wire and bramble, it is thought that the poor thing was trapped for six days with no food or water other than rainfall. Nearly lost both ears, currently at vets being stitched. Bit sorry for herself (obviously) but is well and will pull through.
The owner, peter and i thank everyone for there help and support.

Poor little mite. But good she is found, what a dreadful experience for her.
Re: cocker missing in Shropshire
Absolutely but at least she was found. As you say poor thing.
