Did you hear Chris Packham on The Today Programme ? Saying if you find a tick on your dog then take it (dog, tick n all) the vet.....

That's absurd. Really? I pull many many ticks off my dogs after an outing sometimes. We have a lot. Never had an issue. I use spray on products as well as a tick/flea program. Indeed. Sarah Montague even picked up on that and he got all very scare-monger-ish about your dog's health and your own.
If I hadn't been driving pup back from the woods at the time, I would have probably choked on my organic muesli!
