Of interest to say the least. What say you?

Don't think anyone is entirely sure but most feel anti the EU, those that wish to remain appear to be the ones that are fearful of what might happen to us if we leave - fear of the unknown.

In life, it is important to know when to stop arguing with people and simply let them be wrong.

I've already postal voted to leave. I helped vote us in to the E.U. all those years ago thinking that it would be a good thing but the system is unfair and the bureaucracy is stifling. I'm taking my chance to vote us out again while I still have that chance.

I made the same mistake back in the 70's, Wullie.
"out" on the 23rd., for me.

Re: Brexit? Leave or Remain?
A true country's democracy ends for its people at its borders, further than that it becomes just a word to pacify the masses from the interest of a few to force their will on others. The events over the last few weeks has brought shame on the mother of all parliaments and I reflect on how much we have already lost by allowing honour and integrity to become mere words spat out by the greed and self interested that have become the puppet politicians of today. I am not a European, I am a British European, I am proud of my country and its people, we have given the world, through the modern commonwealth, how nations can come together, work together and achieve together, without losing our own unique identities or control of our borders. Total homogene'ity of the people of Europe and its diversity of cultures will only feed the values of the extreme within those cultures, it is the wrong path. I have a voice and it can not be bought by a corporate board room, it can not be swayed by theoretical economists, and it will not be silenced by veiled threats because I am, after all, British and my ancestry has given me the right to standby what I believe and my right to voice it, so I will be voting out.

Re: Brexit? Leave or Remain?
You're all bonkers, I'm for in.
It's nonsense talking about the Commonwealth & past glories. Much of the mess we see in the world today was caused by Empire building & I remember back to the 50s & 60s when commonwealth immigrants were second class citizens yet they've helped make Britain the wealthy country it has become. And so has membership of the EU helped make us the 5th most important trading nation - wonder what will happen when we're not propped up by it! I look at Johnson & Gove & see the same two faced politicians that will come out of this in profit whichever way the vote swings while it will be the bulk of the general public that will have to pay for it in real terms while we negotiate our way out of the mire. And it is naïve of anyone to think that there isn't going to be any pain with this or that it will magically fix immigration. The government needs to get a grip on immigration & the EU desperately needs reform but I don't believe the answer is to quit. And to talk in terms of project fear is disingenuous and shows a serious lack of any plausible argument in favour of leaving. Life will go on if we do leave but it won't be the sugar coated land of milk & honey that many seem to believe.

Re: Brexit? Leave or Remain?
Does anyone really think that Europe will forego business with England if they are out of the EU? The fear campaign by the Remain chaps holds ni water. Britain is better out.
Re: Brexit? Leave or Remain?
well there's one way to find out.
But at what cost will it be ... free movement of people? Access to sovereign waters? Who knows?
