You wet the bed?!

No I was genuinely intrigued as to the motivation or "need" to ask a bunch of folk on the internet a question that only someone that could see the dog could answer?

  You girls need a hug

The only thing to remember ips is that with birds comes adrenalin, and adrenalin will keep a tired dog going...but a tired dog will be more prone to injury. You need to appraise the dog `in between birds' as to her true status and force a break if required. Dogs learn to pace themselves as the season progresses, by now your dog will be fitter than you think, that schedule does not set alarm bells ringing.
I always thoroughly check over my dogs at the end of each day, and that includes looking for `hot' or `tight' muscle groups which might be signs of a strain. You can make small adjustments to the next days work, without removing the dog totally from the day, but don't over think it

Uncalled for in my opinion.

I will not rise to such comments, other than to say that it was a genuine question and I did state that I knew it was a hard one but was checking if there was a rule of thumb.

Judy
This is EXACTLY why I chose to keep all my posts on my "possibility thread"

Seriously offended now and will have to give much thought to posting anything further on this forum.
Muddling along in the hope that one day it starts to make sense.

As I've said keeping your own personal thread of training questions doesn't help the other learners, unless they are prepared to sift through to get the answers, its near impossible to reference anything in there, if the more experienced are to help others then questions and their answers need to be easily found. Also asking individual questions gives people who don't read your thread a chance to help (or maybe hinder! ).

The question you asked here is near impossible to answer, one might also ask can you manage to do all those days yourself never mind the dog - only you know the answer to that one.
