An update on the pups health

She finished the digestion support food to help her gain weights she’s also finished her course of antibiotics and she has gained weight from 1.4kg to 2kg in a week so a step in the right direction.

Another potential issue now

I decided to put her on skinners duck and rice, she loves it and I’ve been phasing it in with her digestive support over the last few days. No issues with stool still nice and formed, great! She seemed to love the food either dry or softened and wolfed it down. Now the issue is the past couple of days she’s been having just skinners and like I said all was great first day had 140g for the day as per guidelines. Second day I decided to lower it to 120g as she left her last feed, again eat it but left a little on her last meal so today I lowered to 100g for the day and she’s only eaten 25g in total today! That’s it. She is a small dog but how can she go from eating probably about 100g a day to just 25...

Feeding guidelines on the bag for a pup aged 3-4 months that weigh between 1-3kg is anything from 85-175g per day, she’s not even eaten minimum and I’m worried she’s just going to start losing weight again...

Any ideas it can’t be the food

I'm a bit lost here as I don't feed dried food, but is the Skinners duck and rice a puppy/junior version or an adult version?
I usually go along with what ever the breeder was using for at least a month to cover the stress of moving. Certainly if as described there has been a dietary upset I would be very hesitant of making changes to what is working in the short term even if it is expensive stuff from the vets.
When I did want to change I would be phasing in over at least a week not a couple of days and I would be consistent in how it is presented ( wet/dry) so that any problem arising can be identified.
When moving from puppy to junior I also bare in mind the original manufacturer as I would expect a smoother transition and balance of nutrients. However as I'm aiming to feed raw to adults this is not a high priority for me as its more about reading all the ingredients and working it in with the increasing amount of raw in the young dogs diet.
Whilst feeding amounts on the bag are just guides, 25g/day does seem a bit low and I would be concerned if that was sufficient even for a small dog and think that on this occasion the bag is right it should be around 100g+.
Any sign of discomfort in the mouth, teeth and gums is the other thing I would be looking at, otherwise the vet is your friend.

If she loses weight even by as much as a smidgen, Which I’d imagine she will do on such a drastic reduction in diet, don’t mess about on here but get her back to the vets ASAP. It’s very easy to lose a sickly pup and we haven’t got a clue what condition the pup is in so are in no position to give any advice of real value.

100% agree, I was about to reply then realised pup is only 2kg.

Right, this pup hasn't been right since you got her, I would go back to the vets and ask for further tests, some of her symptoms suggest a blockage to me. I might be wrong, I'm not a vet but something is amiss and she can't go on like that for long. Stick with the same food, its not that which is the problem, its something else.
