Led dog collar

Do you use a led dog collar? I heard it's very useful for night walking.

When I take the dog out in the dark I use a clip on led cycle light attached to the collar. Cheaper, fully water proof and more flexible than the stand alone led collars. If you buy a set, you get two lights for two dogs one red and one green/white so doubles the value and you can tell which dog is doing what. You also don't have to buy a separate collar as they clip onto your existing one.

Red on the left, green on the right both facing forwards. A white on the top of the collar facing aft, all round white on top of the head when the dog is stationary, tied to something.

Short answer, no I don't use LED collars, I've got Spaniels so they are never very far away although a collar might be useful to stop me tripping over them.

Tried and tested by Munsterlanders on land and water, and current ones have lasted eight years and been on three dogs
Batteries ( bought separately ) easily last mine a whole winter. Lost a previous one coming off the collar but a few wraps of Sellotape easily hold it on (for those dogs that go chasing bunnies through bramble, not mine of course ), and last till you need to replace the batteries, or remove it from the collar in the spring.
Added advantage if its dark and chucking it down outside you can attach it to your Pelaton and really look the part
