Even the best constructed dogs won't be helped when they run into sharp crap left behind by the unthinking or un caring :think:

True but maybe the better put together are more able to swerve around obstacles or maybe my better put together dogs could run over flinty fields and be lucky.
Who knows, certainly some dogs are far more accident prone than others thats for sure.
In life, it is important to know when to stop arguing with people and simply let them be wrong.

Bandage off yesterday but the top stitches will stay in until next Wednesday, two weeks after the accident. The vet had to put an inner set of stitches in too. Naturally the dog has started to lick the stitches so we have put a little cover on them.

She is fine other than causing an absolute stink every five minutes, I assume the antibiotics are to blame. 🤢

Absolutely minging! Despite being bandaged up the little bugger has chewed the bandage off and nibbled the end stitch....such a pain. Vet to leave it to scab over as can’t be stitched again....
