Hi guys
Got a young cocker (18month) just in the middle of his first season and doing great! Some great content and tips from here
last shoot my pup got himself in some nettles he was agitated and sore post shoot and a day later had some spots/ blisters appear on the inside of his legs and around his genitals today
(3 days later) he whined when outside being asking to sit which was new and had started hovering instead.
Is this something any one has seen / experienced before
Any advice on treatments still very new to pup and training etc
thankyou
Nettles

Re: Nettles
I use aloe vera on my dogs' feet if they get nettled and itchy, seems to soothe. You could try antihistamine tablets too, best to ask your vet for recommended type and dosage.
That looks really sore, maybe Vets might be an idea - my dogs never looked that bad. Was he in brambles a lot? Sometimes young dogs get puss-filled spots which can get infected.

In life, it is important to know when to stop arguing with people and simply let them be wrong.
Re: Nettles
Yeah he was in the brambles.. however hes been in some really thick stuff on the Moore's and not had issues the spots only ever come from the last shoot...
He doesn't seem to bothered when in the crate and house just out on the grass and that during the day?
Im thinking of maybe giving him a nice gentle wash again to keep him / any cuts clean and maybe a chat with a vet as u say... I'll see if we have some aloe Vera too.
Thanks
