Lak-hui merged with Goldstar hence the LG. Great fridge freezers! Ours is years old and still going strong, TV lasted ages too.

Wonder why I didn't look for LG oven and microwave when we did our new kitchen? :brickwall:

Spring has sprung the grass is riz , bunnies are bonking , doing the biz ! Fink I read that somewhere ?

Grass isn't the only thing rising - I'm seeing young, fresh nettles coming through.

No, lifes good is their slogan/motto ;)
Yes, but surely it's no coincidence it ties in with the trading name?

Makes me smile anyway :-D

And yes Wullie, we have new nettles - pup has spent the last 2 hours chomping her feet!
Sadly, down here Kiwi was chomping due to the new nettles at the start of last season!
I keep meaning to pick them to eat but always leave it too late.

Modern Grocery Shops :!:

Her fae ra hoose sent me out to buy a few grocery items , bread , milk , sugar. All were placed in the little basket and that's when my troubles began. The lassie at the check out till only had four customers including me. She diddled about with her cash register, she yakked to everyone and anyone, she took forever - about 3-4 minutes to deal with just one customer and then she began blethering to a passing aquaintance of hers. I'd already been making rumbling noises of impatience and displeasure but that bit of blethering snapped my always fragile temper . I tossed the basket of goodies into her little booth , said the milk had turned to cheese as I'd waited so she could have it all back then stomped off .

I drove to a corner shop nearer to home and bought the groceries there instead in two minutes flat. They cost a few pence more but I'd rather pay it than suffer the waiting around while a till operator yaks and scratches her ass !

P.S. I seem to have been annoyed enough to post this twice

 Well done, shop assisstants that natter are a pet hate of mine as well. So is the butcher who every time I take an order in (which is when I want to top up the freezer) he sighs, moans he's busy, is not sure when he can have it ready etc etc. I give him over an £100 order written down with a smile and a few days notice and he makes me feel like a nuisance  I always swear not to go back but hubby says 'his is the best meat', perhaps I ought to send hubby with the order

The robbing b$£*** that cloned my bank card and took £900 out of it yesterday, all right I’ll get it back but it is sooo inconvenient.

Me ex mate :15: who knowing this very kindly sent me a link to a shooting clothing store sale and of course there are a couple of bargains I really want!

My husband who said I wouldn’t bother reporting it, the thief will probably spend less than you!

The starlings that are nesting in my loft despite mine and a roofers best efforts, the little sods wake up at silly o’clock. One has somehow gotten between the bedroom floor and kitchen ceiling space, I can’t get to it and it’s doing its best impression of the “roadrunner” trying to find a way out.

All in all its been a good week…....

Look on the bright side, an ex-mate is much cheaper than an ex-Husband.

Starling will either die and smell or find the way out. Shoulda left them in the roof, you soon learn to sleep through it. Apart from when they go "POP! Wheeeeooooww" at 4 a.m. :brickwall:

For two years we had one named "Chip-Chooooee", and another named "Chop-suieeee" because that's what they sounded like when they woke up at silly o'clock in the morning.

Chip-Chooeee flew into the window and killed itself,. (Found one lying dead on the ground one day and never heard that noise again.)
