L200 Double Cab for us (other makes are available and equally as good).

The main dog wagon has a divider and tailgate in the back so we can leave the tailgate open and let some air in on hot days.

For trucking large numbers of dogs about you cant beat a pickup, we regularly have up to about 15 dogs in ours and they are comfortable enough with the added bonus that the cab doesn't stink as they are in their own separate area.

My wife and friends would agree with this, I got an oldish cheap crew cab 3 years ago as a dog/dirty jobs vehicle and even my best mate on getting in my car said "this is the first time in 34 years that your car doesn't reek of wet spaniel". I was almost offended  The only downside with the dogs being completely separate is you don't know what is going on in the back on long journeys.

I wouldn't be without one again!

I've got an Xtrail, 2007 onwards model. Drives lovely on the road, good selectable 4wd for sticky bits on shoots, plenty of space inside... I love it.
