Things that make you go"Grrrrrrr"!!
Re: Things that make you go"Grrrrrrr"!!
I remember him coming to some event locally all the kids were bitterly disappointed when he turned up in a suit and tie instead of his Compo gear.
In life, it is important to know when to stop arguing with people and simply let them be wrong.

Muddling along in the hope that one day it starts to make sense.

Having not shot for ages i decided to have a recce the last few days. On my perm i have a meadow between two woods and it seems to be on a flight line. Lots of pigeon about over the last week as rape has been cut on a few local fields. So i get my gear and off we go, eze is biting at the bit at the very sight of her dad in cammo. I hobble two hundred yards on my still dodgy ankle carrying as little kit as possible. Eze walks at heel without running into the field of barley so thats a good sign that she is in a compliant mood.
I get to the meadow with a plan of setting up a hide and shooting the birds flighting so as not to drop them in the crop only to discover two blokes in a hide shooting over standing crop in adjacent field, not one hundred yards away and shooting in my perms general direction.... Bloody hell, pointless setting up as not only are they very close but i would be in danger of being shot. This was the only possible place i could shoot from as there is no laid crop
to say I was pissed off would be an understatement.....grrr
