COCKER GETTIN EXCITED AND GIVING A YELP

hi all

just wondering if any of you cocker people have had any problems with pups giving a voice when gettin excited....
i have a six month old pup and she seems to be giving a little yip while hunting
will she grow out of this do you think????

I think I might try immediately giving a growly no and stopping her and popping a lead on walking on at heel a bit and then setting her off hunting again and if she repeats the whine repeat the above but shove her in the car and call it a day.

She might get the message but to be honest this is not easy to cure and you may find it could be a lot worse around game as her excitement levels increase.

I'd also be very calm around her and not very vocal when handling her or even when praising her.
