Hi,
I have a nearly two year old springer who has always lived inside with me.... Recently I decided to get another who is 10 weeks old. I am thinking about kennelling them out side. Will this be fair on the older one and do you think he will take to it.
Is he to old to live out side

He's only 2. Will adapt fine. Try to introduce him to the kennel slowly so he feels comfortable before locking him in for a long period as that may result in barking, whining constantly. Start by feeding him in the kennel and heaving door open then after a day or so lock him in for 10minutes. Try to increase the time over the week. That should do the trick.

Why do you want to kennel them?

Thanks Charlie mac,
Jelinga to be fair they would have a lot more room if they had a kennel out side as the garden and drive isn't small.
