jack pyke dog vest
jack pyke dog vest
hi has anyone got their dog a jack pyke neoprene vest. wondered what they were like quality and weight wise. also has anyone with a working cocker spaniel got one and if so did you go for the size xs or small. thanks.
Re: jack pyke dog vest
Anything with Jack Pike on it is almost guaranteed to be very average at absolute best I'm afraid, every year for God knows how little ng beaters and pickers up turn with Jack Pike gear and it's always crap!!!
Re: jack pyke dog vest
Do they turn up in defenders
Muddling along in the hope that one day it starts to make sense.
Re: jack pyke dog vest
I've got one - 15kg springer wearing a small. Do a lot of water work in winter which is works well for. Need two new ones and going to try the Dokken ones as they're a bit cheaper in USA
Re: jack pyke dog vest
They were too big for my small (13kg) Springer, so I sent for one from a place called Everything Outdoors (they have a website) based in Holkham Norfolk, it was a much better fit, less gaping so less chance for catching on things, and not expensive.
Re: jack pyke dog vest
thanks all, I have come across a dokken one in size xs so will have a look at them.

Re: jack pyke dog vest
The dokken ones are tonnes better. Agree with DR (as usual) Jack Pyke is cheap for a reason, it's not very good.
cheers,
Alice.
