Re: Dog friendly property rental

I don’t know if you “do” Facebook, but there’s a special group for buying/selling/renting dog friendly properties ...

Bogtrotter .....are you sure your translation from Swedish to English is correct ?

Wullie
Well, both the English and Swedish versions refer to “corner training” so I can only presume it’s correct! I have contacts in Sweden so will try to find out ..... and let you all know!

“Corner training”?

Can anyone enlighten me as to what “corner training” is? While browsing the website of a Swedish gundog equipment/supplies company I found dummies that were good for “corner training” .. I’ve never come across the term.

Re: Snow balling

Natural lanolin rubbed on before going out into snow .... doesn’t clog the coat like other oils and fats!

Re: Kronch review

I use Millie’s Wolfheart Hunter mix and have found it to be excellent. It even gets 5/5 on the independent All about Dog Food website mentioned above.

Re: French Spaniels

The French spaniel (yes, it is a breed) is a liver and white HPR not dissimilar in appearance to a Large Munsterlander. I met a well known French breeder of the breed at the French Game Fair a few years and was very taken by the breed. For information about the breed have a look here http://fci.be/N...

Re: delivery issues

Teach the "hold" (and "dead" or "give" or whatever your release word is) as a separate exercise ... you can do this from the comfort of your armchair! Then back chain (join) it to the retrieve.

Re: Red Labs

The colours "red" or "fox red" are out of standard! The only colours that can be registered according to the breed standard are yellow, black or chocolate/liver. Technically a "fox red" is dark yellow.
