Investigation into seasonal canine illness to feature on BBC’s Countryfile

As part of his ‘Investigates…’ series, Tom Heap speaks with Dr. Richard Newton who is spearheading the AHT’s investigation into SCI. Tom will also report from woodlands where suspected cases of SCI have recently been reported. I contacted the AHT about SCI as I may run in some trials near the affected areas and they said there appears to perhaps be a link with Harvest Mites, so they recomended that at least I treat my dogs with Fronline Spot On (not the spray) or Advocate as a preventative measure. It might help and certainly will do no harm.
