Which wellies?

Le Chameaux
Need a new pair as the tread has just about disappeared but can't complain as they are 7/8 years old and worn everyday.
Not all day as I do possess other footwear.

Yup! I have a pair of Aigles that have lasted me ages ... But only because they are so damned uncomfortable I only wear them if there is no option! Much prefer Le Chameau, have had Hunters, Barbours, Le C and Aigle, not found much difference between them as to longevity, comfort varies between boots never mind makes. I don't think you can compare boots as people walk differently, weight more or less and walk on different types of ground all of which factors influence the length of time the boots last.

I was bought a pair of leather lined Le Chameau's and they were very very comfortable all year round but once they started leaking I really couldn't justify the £300 + price to replace them ! The aigles really don't need nearly as much care either ! and at £115 ish neoprene lined are far more practical if a little warm in the warmer weather .

Only had my Aigle Parcours 10 months and they leak . Cracked where the foot bends . Really fed up as I loved them and found them really comfy . I was wearing them daily but expected them to last a lot longer .

Love my leather boots for most things to do with dogs but I resorted to wearing my Muck Boots last season when picking up and they were absolutely wonderful. They have quite a good grip too - much better than the first pair I bought some years ago which now do as gardening boots. I doubt I will ever buy another pair of expensive wellies again. Not after being so warm, dry and comfortable in my Muck Boots.

I don't like using wellies for walking long distances as I find them uncomfortable, and besides footwear tech has come such a long way that a good pair of waterproof boots and gaiters are more than adequate. That being said, I do have some wellies that I use when waterfowling, these are an old pair of Le Chameau and a pair of Dubarry's. they seem comfy enough, but I wouldn't want to walk in them all day.

Aigle Parcours for me, worn daily walking the dogs, and every weekend through the shooting season whilst beating, no leaks as yet. I also have a pair of Muckboots, which are so warm I can't wear them through the summer or while beating.

Had aigle for 7 years and they finally split, on my second pair now and no issues in the last 2 years

Any suggestions for wellies for a small girl (woman!!!!) with skinny legs? I find most wellies bag around my legs.
